New Workplace Bullying Laws Update
The Fair Work Amendment Bill 2013, containing Australia’s first workplace bullying laws, passed through the Senate last evening and received Royal Assent today.
The commencement date of the new workplace bullying laws is 1 January 2014.
From that date the Fair Work Commission will be able to receive and determine complaints of workplace bullying brought by a “worker” of a constitutionally-covered business.
